Clark-Pleasant Community School Corporation is pleased to announce an opening for the 2018-2019 school year on our collaborative team of School Psychologists. Three full-time school psychologists currently provide services for approximately 7,000 students, including an innovative inclusive preschool program, five elementary buildings, a middle school, high school with two alternative programs, and two non-public schools. With continued growth in the Whiteland/Greenwood area, our school psychologists look forward to the addition of a fourth colleague.

CPCSC emphasizes a collaborative environment in which our psychologists work closely with administration and staff to develop and implement best practices that meet the needs of our students. Responsibilities include participation in school-based problem solving teams, consultation, assessment/conferencing, delivering professional development, and opportunities to work on committees designated to address specific needs.

Clark-Pleasant psychologists currently have access to:

  • Q-Interactive, Q-Global, PARiconnect and X-BASS assessment tools
  • A library of assessments and technology, including laptops, iPads, apps, and software
  • Participation in Professional Learning Communities
  • Multiple opportunities for professional development and growth
  • Balanced calendar - two week breaks (Fall, Winter, and Spring)
  • Participation in team autism evaluations (ADOS-2 administration)
  • Collaboration with Program Support personnel, building-based Instructional Coaches, and building-level and central office administration
  • Shared decision making in determining professional procedures and practices
